Welcome To All About Linux

Thanks for visiting our website.  Here you will find out what exactly is Linux?  Then there are countless articles on linux education, linux history, easiest linux, linux wikipedia, and anything technical that you desire to know.

Linux is an operating system created by Linus Torvalds during his studies at the University of Helsinki. Linux was created and was used as a change in the system used by other computer users as MS – DOS, Windows, Mac OSX, Linux, etc..  It is not a program or a set programs.  While studying at the University of Helsinki. Linus used a version of the operating system called UNIX. Minix showed many changes and updates to the operating system supplied by Linus and others to Andrew Tanenbaum, Minix building. But he knew that they were not necessary. So Linus decided to create its own operating system, and it was important to consider the opinions of users and recommendations for improvement.

In 1991 two important situations developed as a starting point for the Linux kernel created by Linus, but he already had a program that would be used, some programs from the GNU and Richard Stallman. Therefore, Linux kernel is running as a whole application.  One can almost say that the GNU Linux operating system lives on the Internet.

Other software companies will sell you the software in CD or set of floppies with instructional manual in a short hour or less for easiest linux. You can install the operating system fully operational on your computer with linux sort. You must be able to read and follow the instructions to install, this is what the company has in mind as their operating system. But when Linux was developed by Linus, these factors can not be regarded as preliminary. Later, Red Hat and other like-minded companies came about. Therefore, they aim to develop to a point where Linux can be installed easily and used as operating systems.

There are very good responses from computer users about the fact that Linux has proven to be strong and impressive, especially as a network server that can really play this most popular and important part.  Once Linux is powered up, it works for more than a year without having to reboot.  There is also a cost-effectiveness is one of the strongest selling points. Linux can be installed and run in the home PC or a network server without having to spend much.
